Upcoming event Art Route Barendrecht

During the Yearly Art and Culture Route Barendrecht on October 2 and 3,  2010  I am a exhibitor at the Watertower in the Dorpsstraat 152, in Barendrecht the Netherlands.

This year marks the 10 anniversary of the ArtRoute Barendrecht. There is an exhibition of all the members of the ArtRoute  in the Townhall of Barendrecht, where you can make a choice which artists you want to visit. This exhibition will be held from September 22, 2010 till October 1, 2010.

Open during normal business hours.

My exhibition adress during the Art Route Barendrecht is: the Watertower in the Dorpsstraat 152, in Barendrecht the Netherlands a Landmark in the city Barendrecht.

The water tower in Barendrecht, designed by architect Roelof Kuipers and was built in 1912. The water tower of Heerenveen is almost identical. The tower has monument status. The wedding hall was later built the tower.

The water tower has height of 36 meters and a water tank of 120 m3.

Since 1981 the tower is no longer in use as a water tower.
