New book and DVD of Alvaro Castagnet
The new DVD of Alvaro Castagnet is now available by APV films. December 01, 2009
Alvaro Castagnets book “Watercolor Painting with Passion” was released in September 2000 with great succes throughout te world. For the moment this book is is out of print.
Alvaro Castagnet will be publishing a coffee table book of his paintings that will be available in 2010.

In July 2009 he recorded a new DVD, This took place in Antwerp. A city, as Alvaro said, with lots of possiblities and inspiration for an artist.
When the workshop in Lier, was finished, ALVARO and the people of DPV-films stayed a week in Antwerp.
He made paintings of the Cogels Oseylei, the railway station, the marketplace with the famous café ”DEN ENGEL”, inside café “DE BOURLA”… all for his new DVD.
“We have recently returned from Antwerp, Belgium where we have been working on a new film with Alvaro Castagnet.
He selected a wonderful variety of subjects which included a cafe interior, a couple of street scenes, inside the railway station
and a view of the oldest bar in Antwerp painted at night. The film is now completed and

In June 2010 he will be given a 19-20-21 en 23-24-en 25 juni 2010 workshop in the centre of ANTWERP. He loves this vivid city!
